October pictures

A few snapshots of the boys at the "Woods Park" and from a Saturday football game:

Micah in the foreground and Caleb at the other end of the bridge.

A little brotherly love!

Right before Micah decided to jump!

Told them that this is the bridge that the Three Billy Goats Gruff had to cross, and if you listened you could hear the troll grumbling underneath...that got them running across!

"He did it!"

Two little boys sitting in the woods...

Caleb at 5-years-old!

Micah wanted a close up...

"Blue 42! Omaha, Omaha! Hike!"

Kindergarten Caleb!

Here are two pictures from Caleb's first day of Kindergarten! Overall, he had a good experience and seems excited about the whole school thing. Of course, didn't we all back then...

Momma and boys leaving the Estes' home for school Monday morning.

The final few moments before the flood of education begins! Micah was excited the whole morning, maybe even more than Caleb, because he thought he was going to go to school also. When Momma dropped Caleb off at his class and told Micah it was time for nursery, Micah was very disappointed. No crying, but lots of 'Why?' questions.

Fun with Uncle Michael and Aunt Sarah

We took a trip to visit Uncle Michael and Aunt Sarah in NC. The boys had a lot of fun seeing where Michael worked, playing with Michael and Sarah's new lab (Shasta), and generally being crazy. Here are the pictures to prove it!

Micah enjoys a few moments of reading time on the way down.

Shasta attacking the tennis ball!

Michael, Davina, and the boys outside the hangar at the airfield.

Micah in the doorway.

Thought this made for a neat picture...the cross with Davina entering!

The pilot and crew in the cockpit of the Osprey.

Micah giving a final salute before the mission commences.

Waiting for the go signal in the rear compartment.

All tuckered out after having lots of fun.

Thanks to Uncle Michael and Aunt Sarah for all the fun, food, and family times!
