A Blizzard in Chesapeake

Well, the weather men got it right for once! We are having a blizzard like none in recent memory here in the south-eastern tip of VA! At around 1 a.m. last night there was no trace of snow...so we went to bed expecting the "snow apologists" to be backtracking all day today. Instead, we have been tracking through the 6 inches of snow that has fallen to this point. SWEEET!!

A quick family picture before the camera freezes!

The Davies Men enduring the snow and bitterly cold temperatures in the hope that Mama will have hot chocolate to warm them up when they came back in (and Mama did not disappoint!).

Christmas Pictures...better late than never

A few of the Christmas snaps we took...

"When will the pictures start, so they can end, so I can open my presents!"

Micah Needs a Date!

Dad and Mom were getting ready to go to the Concert and Orchestra Christmas 'Spectacular' at church last night. Micah came running upstairs to see what the commotion was, saw us dressed up to go out, and asked, "Where going?" (Micah tends to drop words, or they run together so it sounds like they are not there. So, 'where are you going?' comes out 'where going?') We told him that Dad and Mom were going out on 'a hot date.' Of course, his natural next question was, "I go?" Dad told him, "Well, you have to find your own date!" Micah turned and ran to the top of the stairs, off in search of a 'date.' Then the reality set in, and Micah realized he he had know idea what a 'date' was. So back he came to Dad and Mom, and he asked, "Help find date?"
